New Year: A Time for Sinners

Geek Toys has invaded the figure collections sector presenting a series of action figures inspired in the classical myth of the Seven Deadly Sins. With creativity and poetic licence, Geek Toys have reinterpreted the excesses of Gluttony and Greed, the evil which leads to Wrath, Envy, Sloth, Pride and lastly, Lust.  These concepts have taken shape in very different ways such as a demon who burns entrails to take control of peoples’ souls, a schoolgirl blinded by a fit of anger or a enormous body mass which has accumulated calories lying on a pile of waste. When the designing process was underway, articulated limbs were intentionally discarded in favour of more dynamic poses which define the figures and the intention of each character. In addition, a series of accessories (alternative limbs, objects and arms) have been deliberately developed which can be fitted to change the initial piece. Lastly the figures’ bases included fit together in a specific order to make up a spectacular diorama which we have called “The Ultimate Sin”.  Series 1 wich includes Pride and Gluttony are estimated to be released May 2011.
